Who I am …

As a qualified Relationship Counsellor and Pre- Marriage Educator, I am passionate about offering the very best to my clients. To do this I maintain membership with several governing bodies that offer continued professional development and training. Besides being a member of the Australian Counselling Association (ACA), Marriage and Relationship Educators Association of Australia (MAREAA) and Prepare Enrich, I am also a Level 1 & 2 Gottman trained therapist and an Emotionally Focussed trained couples therapist.

In my personal life, I am a wife, a mother of two teenage children, a daughter, daughter in-law, community member and friend. I am fortunate to have been married to my high-school sweetheart from 1998, experiencing and learning from all of life’s ups and downs together. My personal experiences, combined with professional knowledge and training, have enriched my ability to share wisdom, guidance and support to others.

I am very passionate about working with couples and helping them from the very begining of their journey and beyond. My role is to support couples from all walks of life and in building a solid foundation which recognises and builds upon their strengths and needs as individuals and together.

Amidst all the roles we are called to play in life, the building of a meaningful and loving relationship with your partner is a siginificant one. We need to strive for contentment, purpose and connection in our relationships in order to thrive in all other areas of our lives.

We are all social creatures programmed for connection, joy, entertainment & acknowledgement.

Helping build a strong and meaningful relationship based on the realities that life throws at us is what I aim for.

I was born & raised within a humble home in a multi-cultural society. From a very young age I came to appreciate the ups & downs that life has to offer as I lost my father at the age of 4.

Growing up in a culturally diversed community, I am exposed to the values, traditions & beliefs that is the foundation of many societies. This was further enhanced when I took to the skies as a flight attendant at the age of 19 and successfully worked for 2 national airlines in the 10 year time span of my international flying career. I decided to give up my flying career for a grounded life after marriage & as they say, the rest is history.

As a wife myself, I have worked at building a strong relationship with my husband weathering many storms in the past two decades.

Marriage has many up’s & down’s and various challenges thrown in at different ages & stages of life. From couple life to parenting & beyond. Every stage needs attention to thrive and it is always a ‘work in progress.’
I welcome all couples, from pre-marriage or couples about to enter a new committed relationship, to newlyweds, co-habiting couples, new parents, step-parents, parents of blended families coming together, interfaith, inter-racial & couples planning to remarry at a later phase of life.

All are welcome, without any fear of judgement. The program is tailored made to suit each one’s uniqueness. I look forward to hearing from you and working with you.
